How to Get There
Cambo Estate is located 10 minutes east of St. Andrews, directly along the A917. Parking can be found directly at the estate.

It is served by three international airports and can be driven to in 75 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, and just under 2 hours from both Glasgow Airport and Aberdeen Airport. You can find directions from these locations below.
Dundee airport is a short 45 minute drive away, and there are daily flights (except Saturdays) from London City Airport.

Leuchars station is the nearest train station and is a short 30 minute drive away, with direct trains to Edinburgh, Abdereen, Dundee and England serving the station. There are a number of local taxi companies (please see details listed below) that can be used to arrange transfer.
From Edinburgh airport located just west of the City of Edinburgh, Cambo can be reached in an hour and a quarter by road via the M90 and A92.
If driving isn't an option, we would suggest getting the tram or bus to Haymarket station in Edinburgh. From there taking a train to Leuchars Station is under an hour, and the final step of the joruney can be made by taxi.

Glasgow Airport
Cambo can be reached in just under 2 hours if driving from Glasgow airport, by taking the M8 to the Queensferry crossing and the M90/A92 to Cambo.
If taking public transport, we would suggest taking the 500 bus to Glasgow Queen Street. From here, you can get a train via a change at Dundee to Leuchars Station and we would suggest completing the journey by taxi.
From Aberdeen Airport, Cambo can be reached in 2 hours via the A90 and A919/A91.
If going via public transport from the airport, take the 727 or X17 bus to Union Square Bus Station in Aberdeen. From here, direct trains to Leuchars Station run half-hourly to hourly, and the journey can be completed via taxi.

Dundee Airport
Driving from Dundee Airport to Cambo is straightforward and can be done in 45 minutes via the A92 and A917.
For those taking public transport, buses are available from Glamis Road to Dundee bus station (alternatively, a short taxi journey may prove quicker and more straightforward). From here, the 99/99A/99B buses will take you to St Andrews where you can change onto a 95 bus to Cambo.
Trains
Leuchars Station is the closest train station to Cambo House, located about a 30 minute drive from the estate and about 15 minutes from St Andrews. It is well served by taxis and has a taxi kiosk with a rank directly outside, and it is an interchange for bus services.

Scotrail run direct services frequently to Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Dundee and via connection to Glasgow.
​
LNER run a direct service to London King's Cross via York, Darlington and Newcastle. This service also runs from Aberdeen to Leuchars.
